I will just mention here that my first
translations were written in Wordstar running on MS-DOS, and
occasionally on a typewriter, using carbon paper to produce more copies…
I used to hand over my translations in an envelope. But that was way
back in 1993...
We are in 2025 and I still translate and interpret for a living, so I
must be doing something right. Now I use the technologies that are
available commercially: CAT tools for consistency (do not mistake them
for AI-based translation or Google translate); optical character
recognition tools to work faster; remote interpreting via Zoom, Webex,
Teams or other online platforms; digital signatures etc).
What
sort of services can you expect to buy from me? Voila :

• interpreting
in your meetings with government institutions, business partners, new
friends or long-forgotten relatives who live in Romania;
• interpreting and translation services for arbitration
proceedings (including sound systems, if requested);

take photos or footage, talk to authorities etc, I would be more than
